Osborne High School served as host for the Area 7 Raider Competition on October 10th, 2015. The 10 teams selected from 11 schools will represent two female teams comprised of 12 members and only 10 competitors at a time; four mixed teams comprised of 12 members with at least four female competitors with a total number of 10 competitors; and finally, four male teams comprised of 12 members, with 10 males competing at any given time. There were over 15 schools represented at the competition, and each school entered a minimum of two teams.
The teams will compete against other area teams located throughout the state. The state meet will take place on October 31, 2015 at Spalding County High School in Griffin, Georgia.
Haralson County High School’s JROTC male and male-mixed teams placed third in the 10 x 400 meter relay run and rope bridge events respectively. The male team placed fourth overall. This placement qualified Haralson County High School to compete at the state level.
