HCSD Superintendent, Dr. Jerry Bell stated "We are incredibly proud to be able to once again shatter our own record. Our high school administrators, teachers and students have worked incredibly hard, but a graduation rate is the result of an entire school district working at all levels to make it happen. We're working every day to ensure great outcomes for our students and promote the future development of our community."
Georgia's 2019 statewide graduation rate is 82%, continuing an upward trajectory from 69.7% in 2012.
