Partners Club - Sponsor: Mrs. Barbara Wilkerson

The purpose of Partners Club is to prompt social relationships between students with and without disabilities by providing a natural setting for discussion of concerns relating to lack of acceptance by peer groups due to differences. The club offers assistance in providing increased opportunities for students of all ability levels, assistance in facilitating meaningful inclusive opportunities within the school environment, practical opportunities to learn about diversity and tolerance, opportunities to foster positive character development, and opportunities for service learning. The Partners Club normally serves as sponsor for the local Special Olympics and participates in various field trips relating to the club's goals and purposes, and conducts fundraiser activities to support the mission and goals of the club.
